City Council appeal October 7

Join us Wednesday, October 7 at 5 pm, praying outside City Hall or coming in to the Council meeting to pray or to speak to the Council during the public comment time. The points we hope to address to the Council include:

Asking the Council to send the parking issue at 25th and H to a committee as Councilmember Jacquie Sullivan agreed to do during the September 9 meeting.
Expressing concern about the illegal confiscation and removal of the crosses memorializing the babies killed each week at the Bakersfield FPA abortion center.
Expressing concern to the Council about the claims of City staff members that erecting 40 Days for Life yard signs in residential areas is illegal.
Inviting Council Members to join us in praying (both publically and privately) for those injured and killed by abortions in Bakersfield, and encouraging council members to erect 40 Days for Life yard signs in their own yards.
